1. How did the Druids differ from the military class?

The Druids differed from the military class because they did not go to war, they had an exemption from military service.

 

2. How long did they study?

They studied in a course of training, normally, for twenty years to learn by heart literature and culture.

 

3. Why did they write in Greek?

They wrote in Greek for two reasons: they did not want to reveal their doctrines among the mass of the people and who learnt them had to train memory.

 

4. What was their belief about souls?

They believed in the transmigration of souls: after death, the soul went from one body to another.

 

5. What did they teach the young?

They thought the young different kind of respect. The young had to respect the stars and the world, the nature of things and the immortal gods.
