A recent report says that life is going to ghange in the next twenty years mostly becouse of tecnology. People are going still to live in a similary wat: families and single people in houses and flats, altrought there are going to be an increase in communal living arrangements. More people will work all or part of the time from home using the internet. The government has announced thet it is going to invest in pubblic transport. The report says that as a result, many people won't use the cars. The most noticeable changes are in entertainment and free time. With much improved home theatre in every home, films will be available over th einternet, and most bands and musicians will relase albums to download. But most critics think hat people will never stop meeting in bars and restaurant: a chat on th einternet cannot replace a chat with friends.

Next year, I'm going to visit my French penfriend. I think I am going to travel from London to Paris by train. I am going to find a hostel in Paris for two night and I'm going to do some sightseeing. After that, I'm going to catch the train to the south coast. My penfriend and her brother are going to meet me at the station and then we are going to drive to their house. I'm a bit nervous, I'm not going to speak English for two weeks!
