This article is about Nelson Mandela’s new autobiographical film.

“Long walk to Freedom” is directed by Steven McQueen and talks about Mandela’s 18 years in Robben Island. The film was authorized by Mandela and his family even if it doesn’t ignore his womanising during his first marriage.

The film was in cinema in America and opened in Britain on 3rd January 2014.

 

The receiver is a person who is interested in culture and in knowing life of important people who changed the world such as Nelson Mandela.

The reason why someone should read this article is it is a very interesting editorial which talks about a topic that should be interesting for teenagers and adults both.

The language is not difficult but the topic regards people who has almost a bit of culture and knowledge of what happens around the world.

The article has the function of advertise the new film and remind people of a very important person who has died recently, Nelson Mandela died on 5th December 2013, a month before the coming out of the film in cinemas.

 

In conclusion the article is characterized by a simple topic and a simple language, so everyone who can read is able to understand the editorial . But what differentiates the type of readers is the interest in Nelson Mandela, so the interest in culture. Not all the people focus their attention on very important people who has really changed the society and our own world.
