The structure of the article “An important mission”

The article is organized into a heading, a subheading and 6 paragraphs.

The heading has the function to draw the attention of readers. It allows readers to find out possible anticipations about the content of the article.

The subheading gives other information about the article.

The first paragraph gives readers the information about the advent of Christianity in Great Britain.

The function of the second paragraph is to introduce the impact of a monotheistic religion into a polytheistic one.

The function of the third paragraph is to explain how Christianity could merge into the polytheistic cultures.

The fourth paragraph gives readers the information about the Christianity spread and its effects.

The function of the fifth paragraph is to inform readers about the process of Christian conversion among Anglosaxon peoples.

The function of the sixth paragraph is to explain how the evangelization could convert Germanic tribes too.
