The article was published in " The Economist ". It was dated 11th January 2014.

It was published in print . The reporter used a title that draws the reader's attention. If the article had been

published only on the Internet, the journalist would not require a title drawing attention . On the internet there is a search engine that chooses r useful articles to the reade according to the directions given . In a newspaper , however, the title is crucial because it presents the topic and should arouse the reader's interest . If the title does not have these two quality, the reader will never read the article below .

The title draws the reader's attention thanks to the word upset . The journalist continues to attract the reader's attention with the subtitle where is the word turbolent .

The article is addressed to people interested in Italian politics. The ideal reader  is not residents of Italy, but from other states and he is interested in foreign policy. The newspaper that inspired the article is "The economist " who is not an Italian newspaper . Also in the article there are italian words and its own political standing, with the explanation:  the journalist uses the italian word "Chi" with the next translation " Who" ; next to their initials in Italian politics ( PD- NCD ), there are shows words in length ( the Democratic Party - the new center right), next to the various parties is the leader explained . This is done to connect it to the Italian context.

A person may want to know the policy of another state for several reasons: to compare the policy of the State to which they belong with that of another state , or of curiosity , or for business .

The ideal reader is not a fan of Italian politics. The ideal reader is a person who is interested in Italian politics but is not informed .

The author is aware that his article will be read by an audience not prepared on the subject : in the article there are many flasback that explain the political events of the past . In this way the journalist helps readers understand the text even if not prepared in this topic. In fact in the first place the journalist describes what had happened in the past ( first January 2014) to advise the readers of the episodes that are successed before the central theme of the article. The other examples are : the writing of the name of the predecessor Renzi ( Bersani ) and its physical problem , the chronological connection to December to tell the election of Renzi , the story of the bond between Berlusconi and Alfano and following creation by Alfano of a new party , the percentage of vote by which Renzi emerged from the elections in 2012 , and the condemnation of Berlusconi.

Although the topic is politically motivated language is very simple. The foreign journalist uses metaphor that isn’t in political life : though no gray beard at 47 . In this way, the writer doesn’t say that Mr. Letta is older than the other political men. ( Like many of His generation , the 38-year –old mayor of Florence ... ) and gives the reader an additional element: the age of the political Italian .

The reporter uses a figure of speech to describe the daily Italian situation : pulling the strings from outside the cabinet .

The reporter describes all the events that led to and then sig.Renzi the elaboration of a new ideology . For a description of this ideology , the reporter brings examples with German policy . The journalist compares the ideology of Renzi in a German policy demonstrates that his article is intended for people who know this policy.

The reader referred to by the reporter, can learn about the German policy because it has to do with this policy, or the Germans are living on German earth, or know foreign policy in general. The latter hypothesis is connected with the initial one : the ideal reader is a man who knows the policy of European states .

In the promises of Renzi language is used propaganda in order to build consensus among citizens.

The language also has its own terms of political language : the center –left Democratic Party ( PD) , the deputy finance minister from the Democratic Party, mayor, allies, leader election , formal pact , coalition , lawmakers , resignation , political establishment , gevernment , lectures , Costitutional Court, electoral law, vote .

In the article the journalist recounts the event of the insult between Renzi and Fassina , this shows that the journalist is not only interested in describing the political situation but also the social among politicians . Probably the journalist has described this incident because he considers due to "Left upset ."

This article is therefore directed towards foreign people interested in Italian politics.
