Halloween is on the 31st October.
This festivity has celtic origins: the Celts celebrated on this festivity the start of winter and of the new year.
They believed that ghosts and witches returned on that night and entered in the body of person and animal.
The Celts used to wear frightering costumes to make mosters afraid of theme.
Nowadays teenagers and children wear costumes of witches, ghosts, skeletons and mosters and go around the city ringing the bells of houses and asking for sweets, coins and chocolate.
Some houses have frightening pumpkins out of the door that families make to had fun.
In some cities are organized maches where people can compete with our people by creating scare costumes.
Moreover are also organized pumpkin maches where the winner  is who make the prettiest pumpkin.
