I live in Pieris , a little village near Monfalcone. Pieris is a farming  village because there are many fields and farms. There are few industries , but there are a florist's , a fishmonger's, a butcher's , a baker's t,two  newsagents's, a photo shop, a videoshop, a bike shop .There are also three pubs, a restaurant , two pizzeria , a ice-cream parlour , two banks ,a city hall, a church, a football field , a basketball court . There are a library and two parks , three schools . There a railway , but the station is closed . There is Isonzo, it is a river with the gravel pits, it was important during in the  First and the Second World War . Many soliders were killed in the Isonzo . Near the city hall there is " Villa Settimini" , a noble villa .On 1700 it was built . There is the Fabio Capello's house, he is a famous trainer and he was allso a  famous player in the world. Pieris is a quiet village there isn't smog and I like it because there are my friends and with them I can go to Isonzo to play football.
