My name is Mattia Dibarbora.
I live in Romans d’ Isonzo. It is a small village near Gorizia, in the north east of Italy.
Romans d’ Isonzo has got 3500 inhabitants. The people are very friendly and available.
Romans is beautiful because there are many service and specially for the old people.
For example the doctor, the dentist, the accountant and the psychologist.
In the main street, via Latina, there are the post office, the bank, the stationer's, the butcher's , the supermarket, the chemist, the bakery, the bar and the hairdresser.
In this village there are the nursery school, the primary school and the secondary school.
The nursery school is very beautiful and new.
Also the primary school is new and it is big. It has got two flowers and a large corridor. There are ten class rooms and a small gym and a big garden.
The secondary school is old and not very big. There are nine class rooms and the garden is not very big.
In the centre of village there is a church : it name is “ Santa Maria Annunziata”.
Near the church there is a big centre where many children go to play.
Behind the centre there are a playground, a big gym and a tennis court.
Romans is famous because there is a “ Necropoli Longobarda”.
In the outskirts there are many fields, vineyards and orchards. There are also four small lakes when you can catch trout. I go fishing with my friend Davide.
I like Romans because I have a lot of friends and we play football.
I like this village because it is welcoming and lively.
I like it because I grow in this small town.
This village is wonderful!
