Children born at the beginning of the 21st century have a 50-50 chance of living to be 100 years old, according to a recent study. Public health is improving all the time and medical technology is advancing so quickly that in 2100 the average age in some parts of the world is likely to be 100.
The study shows that human life expectancy increases in some parts of the world by about 2 years every decade. And scientists now are believing that there is no natural limit to ageing and that humans may one day live at least 200. However, your lifespan may depend on your sex. At the moment, 90% of all people over 100 are women.
