The town I live is Cervignano Del Friuli. It's a medium town, the biggest in "Bassa Friulana". It has about fourteen thousand habitants. Cervignano is situated in the north-east of Italy, in the centre of Friuli plain. In the centre of Cervignano there is the Independency square, a small circle square where there are a skyscraper, a lot of shops and the theatre where there are a lot of shows, films, concerts and displays of dancing or gymnastic. In the square, there is also the town hall, where there are the most important public offices of the town.

Near the square, the Ausa river passes. There is a bridge and in the left of it there are two ways in the sides of the river. It's really beautiful walk along the river. It' s a small part of nature in Cervignano. The way finishes with a race track. In the river there are ducks, swans that swim happily and quietly. On the river, there are parking a lot of boats, of people who love sailing arriving to the sea.

Near the Ausa, there is the secondary school "G.Randaccio",the only in Cervignano and the Europe park, the most important park in Cervignano. The Europe park is really great and puts up some concerts or important events. Bur the Europe park isn't the only park in the town: in fact,in the suburbs, there is the Pradulin park, the most beautiful one of the town. It's really beautiful because a tributary of Ausa passes on and it's very nice admire the colours of the nature.

Talking about public places, there are five nursery schools,four primary ones and two

high schools: the ITI Malignani and the Liceo Scientifico A.Einstein.

In Cervignano there are three churches: "Duomo" in the centre, San Michele's, a great medievial church and San Girolamo,a little church.

In the centre, near the primary school in "Via Firenze" there is a great library where you can take some books, read, study, make some searches and little children can listen to some stories.

Cervignano has three fractions: Muscoli and Strassoldo in the north of the town and Scodovacca in the east.

In the suburbs in the south-east there is a shopping centre while in the east -going to Scodovacca- there is a sport centre, where children and guys can play baseball, football, basketball, skating, volley and body building.

I like Cervignano because there is all that you need: shops, gyms, schools, places where you can go out with your friends. However, I sometimes don't like Cervignano because, even if there are two parks and the ways along the river, there's a bit nature and often the town appairs sad.
