Hello my name is Camilla Geotti.

I live in a small town in Aiello del Friuli in the northeast of Italy.

Aiello is a small village with about 2300 inhabitants.

Aiello is a country with enough "life": there are several facilities in the country.

Some are smaller for example a pizzeria, a pharmacy, two dentists', hairdressers, bars, while others are bigger like a supermarket, a butcher, a fishmonger, a bakery, banks, post office, retirement homes , furniture makers ecc.

In Aiello there are three school buildings: a kindergarten, an elementary school and a middle school.

The place of meeting for guys is a small "Arena" near the playground or the ACLI a bar where we spend the afternoon eating ice cream.

My country also has two churches, one of which is no onger attended.

The municipality of Aiello has two hamlets: Joannis and Novacco.

Aiello is known around Italy for its famous festival of Sundials that takes place  in May every year. Around the country you can see about 100 Sundials.

 It is not a big country but I like it and I'm happy to live in there.
