Analyzing the two documents we can notice that the description of Italian people is based on the use of the stereotypes and clichés. The stereotypes represents the way how the rest of the world sees Italy. And they say the truth, Italy is really as everyone thinks. It is the birthplace of pizza, pasta, fashion, sport cars, football and it is also unfortunately birthplace of Mafia and an unstable government. But not only, in fact nobody remembers those man who changed the history like Leonardo Da Vinci, Galileo Galilei, Dante Alighieri and many others that all world knows, but unfortunately no one remembers what country they come from. Maybe because they are envious or ignorant or because they find it easier to invoke negative examples.
In conclusion, Italy is not just pizza, mafia and mandolin.
