OPTION B:
Hamlet is not classical hero whit superpowers who has to combat monsters or Gods. He is a real life hero because he is a common person who has to face the real life problems whit the power of reason. His uncle has married his mother and he suspect that he has also murdered his father and he want a revenge.
He asks himself how to face the problem, then he ponders what is right and what is wrong, therefore his mother’s and his uncle’s misdeeds.
He feels confused in his arguments because he is paralysed by emotions and is scared by the difference between his values and the adult’s world; therefore he starts to think about existential doubts.
In his line of reasoning he clearly divides right and wrong, because according to his morality he feels that the world must follows the values that are right for him. He wants to revenge his death father and to catch again his mother’s attentions, therefore he use the power of his mind to frame his uncle.
He thinks a good plan, but he does not succeed to kill his uncle: he has taken a place in Gertrude’s heart, therefore Hamlet admires him.
Even if at the end Hamlet does not take his revenge, he also can be considered a Renaissance hero because he combats for his values with the power of his mind. In the corruption of the court he could become corrupted, but he does not chance is values and finds a different view to adapt to reality. He can be considered victorious because he has not renounced to his values to stop to suffer.
