Test Correction 21.02.14

In Shakespeare's play "The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark" Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark, si at the centre of the tragerdy with all his doubts. He wonders about the sense of life (this makes him a modern hero), he has no certains expect for death. Hamlet always poses questions and looks for answers. He has an existential problem:"What is the sense of my life?" Hamlet finds himself stuk, he cannot act. HAmlet is weighing if is petter to suffer the "slings and arrows" of life or to take arms against a "sea of troubles". Hamlet most famous soliloqui (act3,scene2) convays his struggle between his rational and irrational forces, here he underlines his inner conflict and his inability to take action. Hamlet takes into consideration to dio (eternal sleep) because if you sleep you do not feel pain and troubles come to a pause. After a second thought he understands that when we sleep we can have dreams and sometimes dreams can turn into nightemares. When we die we can have the feeling that we have got rid of our body and our pains. On the other side life implies a lot of suffering (Shakespeare uses the hyperbole of "a sea of troubles"). If life is so difficult why do people not commit suicede, than? With all his doubts and existential problems and answers he looks for, he embodies the classical Renaissance hero.
