The Tragedy of Hamlet

The tragedy of Hamlet is one of Shakespeare's greatest one. the slide has the skull, it reminds death. There is a quotation, one of the most famous "there is something rotten in the state of Denmark. "Rotten" means "putrido", there is no stability in the kingdom of Denmark. If the king rule to a rotten kingdon means that there are a lot of problems to resolve. The king was the rapresentation of God in the Earth; the last king was killed, he was murdered and his brother take his place. Hamlet father's ghost appeared to Hamlet, it is possible to see ghosts. Why did Shakesepeare exploit the idea of the ghost? Shakespeare exploits the idea of the ghost to explain his doubts. He has to use retorial devices (ghost) to represent what eas on Hamlet's mind, what does it tell? The ghost tells Hamlet that his father was murdered and he wants to take revenge. What should Hamlet do? His father died, he has the suspition that his uncle was the one who killed his father. Intead of taking action Hamlet brooda over his options. He started to adopt to reality creatly. Hamlet decides to pretend he is mad (he starts talking in riddles, act cruelly to Ophelia. he is suspicius of everyone). He shows his face in a way people does not underrstand, he does not trust anyone. Is he showing fake insanity? Will he kill his uncle?
