Teens in Oxford, in their free time, like going to the cinema. There is a big multiplex near the stadium and they can see all the new films there. If they want to play sports they can go to the two new sports centres or at the university sports centres. There they can practice a lot of sports like volleyball.

In Oxford there aren’t any clubs or dance venues for teenagers. It is a real problem. They are all for over 18 year old guys, but there is a nightclub that does an under 18s evening once a month. In addition if they want to hang out they can go in the city centre when it isn’t raining, or they can go to fast food restaurants. There are also cafès but they are expensive.

In Oxford there are big chain stores, but there aren’t any small shops for teens. They usually go to Reading, where the shopping is really cool.

Teenagers like music and there are some new bands on tonight but there is a new venue called OX4.

In summer they like hanging out in the big university parks where they can play football and have a laugh.
