She Dwelt Among the Untrodden Ways
The title (in archaic language) makes us think that a woman lives in ways not covered.
In the first stanza, we sense that the protagonist of the poem lives between ways not covered near the river Dove, in Scotland; she lives in solitude, with a few people to talk to, and very few to love.
In the second stanza, the narrator explains that she was very pretty, but being hidden from the world like a violet hidden by a stone, hidden from the eyes. She lived in a place far away, but so beautiful but so far, like a shining star in the sky.
In the third stanza, we sense that Lucy, the main character dies, but only few people know it. This fact create so sadness in the narrator.
