This morning, in the class, during the English lesson, the teacher read us an important document: "Patto di corresponsabilità" or "Sharing Responsibility Pact" inEnglish.
At the beginning of the year the parents of all students and the head teacher sign this pact.
It is a document that describes the rights and duties of students and their families and theprocess to promote suitable education .
In the first part of the document the school is commited to receive every student in the respect of his differences and to educate the guys according to the the principle of tolerance, solidarity, mutual respect, peaceful living together and freedom to express opinion.
In the second part the school commits itself to involve the parents in the school activities with frequent communications about the student's school results.
The pact also tells about the students' rights and duties and also the ones of their parents for a quiet school year.
For me the "Sharing responsibility pact" is very useful because it provides clear information about the correct behaviour of students and the opportunity school may offer.
