Dear Thomas ,

I’m writing you this letter   to talk about my holiday in Landon   .

I stayed there two weeks and I came back home yesterday afternoon   .

My holiday started on the 3th July of the last year     ,     when we did the check-in at the Venice airport   . The travel was good   ,   and we arrived in London in the afternoon   .

Than we took the bus and we arrived in the city centre   .

We were tired so we decided to stay in the hotel   .

Next moorning we woke up early and we had a fantastic English breakfast than we took the camera   ,   the map of London (plant)and our holiday started   .

We saw all the city centre in the moorning and we had a wonderfoul   trip on the well   .

It’ s the London Eye and you can have a wonderful view from here ! It luckly was a clear day   .   We had lunch with etnic food   in a food stall in Portobello Road and we passed all the afternoon here   .

Portobello Road is a world famous street market   ,   very popular with Londoners and tourists . It’s two miles long and there’re over two hundred stalls and three hundred shops , too.

There you can buy designer and second hand clothes , books , jewels and lot of interesting things   . You can also buy antiques , but they are only on Friday and on Saturday.

The third day we slept too and we woke up at twelve o ‘ clock .

What could we see on London ? Buckingham palace , of course !

Buckingham palace is the official residence of the Queen . You can’t unluckly visit Its six hundreds rooms , but you can visit the Changing of the Guard . We also saw the Crown Jewels : they’re in the nine hundred years old Tower of London and the famous Beefeaters , too .   We had dinner at Planet Hollywood : It’s a particular place where you can have great good and watch films clips at the same time !

Here we had a lot of fun and we ate fish and chips ( Yum ).

The next day , we had a picnic in Hyde Park , we also rode a horse !

This day we had visit two famous museums : the famous British Museum and Tate Modern . The British Museum contains a world famous collection of 7,5 million objects .

You can only see a small part , because It’s huge .

The second It’s Tate Modern . It originally was a power station and It’s huge , too.

You can see art from 1900 to the present day : There’re also   works by   Daly , Picasso and Warhol.

There’s   an   high   tower   where       you   can   have   a   café   and   a   magnificent   view   from   the   level   seven . It’s   very   popular   with   students   ,   because It isn’t a typical museum . It’s   all   modern   art   ,   and   the   admission   is   free   !   We   also   wanted   to   see   Madame   Tussaud ’s   ,   but   It   was   night and   we came back to the hotel .

On the next moorning , we woke up early and we went   Madame   Tussaud ’s .

Here we met all the celebrity   we can’t meet in Italy : Nelson Mandela , Albert Einstein and the Queen.

They was the best waxworks I had ever see : they looked similar to the originals !

I’m having fun writing this letter   , but I must go : tomorrow my teacher is examining me!

Bye Thomas !
