LONDON

I am in holiday in London for a five days. In London I can see must places, like: Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge and Hyde Park. This morning I visited St Paul’s Cathedral, a huge Church that dominates London’s skyline and the British Museum. This museum is dedicated to human history and culture. It contains a world famous collection of 7.5 milion objects. Now I’m visiting The Globe Theatre. It is a modern reconstruction of Shakespeare’s original theatre. The actors perform the plays in the opera air. This theatre is on Park Street. Now I’d like to go to Tower Bridge. It has two levels, one for traffic and one for pedestrians. In London there is also another bridge: the Millennium Bridge. It is a bridge only for people and with that one you can to cross the Tames.

Second day

Today I want to visit the parks of London. I’m in Hyde Park at the moment. I can go horse riding or rowing. This park is divided in two parts by the artificial lake Serpentine Lake. Here I can walk or do a picnic. After I want to visit St Pancras Station. It is in heart of London and it link the UK with the rest of Europe.

Third day

Today I ‘m going to Harrods to do shopping. Harrods is a world famous department store with 330 different departments. Located in one of most rich and unique to London, Knightsbridge, South Kensington, and is located in Brompton Road. After I’m going to Oxford Street for shopping. It’s over two kilometres long and has 300 shops, and I want to go to visit Camden Market for its cool fashion and second-hand clothes.

Fourth day

Today I want to visit Portobello Road market. I can see stalls selling hot food, and a wide choice of cafès, restaurants and pubs, and lots of shops where I can buy designer and second-hand clothes, jewellery, books, antiques and lots of interesting things. After I’m visiting Madame Tussaud’s. Here I’m seeing the models of hundreds of historical figures, cultural icons and royalty like David and Victoria Beckham, the Queen, Nelson Mandela and Albert Einstein.

Fifth day

Today is the last day in London. I’m visiting Tate Modern, the most spectacular modern art gallery. There are work by Dali, Picasso and Warhol. This gallery is very popular with students.

T: Where are you going in holiday?

M: I’m going to London. I stay there for two days with my family.

T: What are you visiting?

M: The first day I’m going to St Paul’s Cathedral. In the afternoon I’m visiting British Museum. There, there are famous collection of objects.

T: What are you doing the second day?

M: I’m going to Tower Bridge and after I’m doing a picnic in Hyde Park. In the afternoon I’m going to do shopping in Harrods and then I’m going to Oxford Street.
