DIALOGUE ABOUT LONDON
A: Good morning teacher!
B: Good morning!
A: What about the trip to London? How do we get to London?
B:We get to London by plane.
A: How much is the plane?
B: It's about 100 € a person.
A: Oh, It's much! How many days we will stay there?
B: We stay there about a week there.
A:Where do we stay?
B:We stay in a cheap hotel. It's about 30€ a day.
A: Do we visit Madame Tussaud's?
B: Yes, of course! Are you interesting to visit it?
A:Yes, I am. I'm curios. Do you visit other there?
B: Well, we will visit a lot of interesting things! We'll visit the
Buckingham Palace, The London eye, the Tate Modern, Portobello Road
Market, theatres, parks and the River Thames. We can go to Harrods if
we have free time.
A: Wow! What's Portobello Road Market?
B: It's world-famous street market with
Londoners and tourists. It's two miles long and there are over two
hundred stalls and lots of shops, too. You can buy designer,
second-hand clothes, jewellery, books, antiques and lots of
interesting things. Also there are stalls hot food, and a wide choice of cafés, restaurants
and pubs.
A: And what's the Buckingham Palace?
B: Is the official residence of the Queen. There are 600 rooms and you
can see the Changing of the Guard. The houses of Parliament opposite
Parliament square are the home of the British government.
A: Oh, It's interesting! And what's Tate Modern?
B: It's the most spectacular modern
art gallery. There are work from 1900 by Dali, Picasso and Warhol.There are magnificent views, especially from the cafés on level 7, and the gallery is very popular with students.
A:Is it expansive?
B:No, it isn't. It's free!
A:Oh, good. Thank you very much! Goodbye!
