A Word is dead       

When it is said,         

Some say.     

I say it just    

Begins to live

That day

Analysis

The title may creates expectations about
the language. The title prepares the readers for text's theme that is about
words that we do not use but it is an old word that exist in the past. It is a
personification because a word is compare to a human.

The layout tells the reader it is a
poem. The reader can see the text is organized in six line arranged in two
terckes. It follows that the reader might interesting in discovering the
function of single terckes.

In the first terceks the third person
narrator says that when somebody speaks and use words, as soon as a word is
said is dead.

In the second terceks the narrative
voice change into a first person and the first person expressive a totally
different opinion. It goes without saying the structure of the poem is conceive
of different opinion of live of the world.

The content is the argumentation about
the life cycle of word.
