A WORD is dead   
When it is said,         
Some say.     
I say it just    
Begins to live   
That day.  

From the title the reader may expect that the poem is about the function of a word in comunication, and the reader may wonder why a word is 
dead and so who kill it. The layout tells to the reader that is a poem, the text is organized in six lines arranged in two tercets, it follow that 
the reader might interested in discovering of the function of the single terset.
In the first terset the third person narrator says that when someone speak and uses a word as soon as he says is desd.
In the second terset the narrative voice changes in to a first person narrator that express a totally different opinion.
It goes without saying that the structure of the structure of the poem is conceive of to give two different opinion about the life of a word.
Indeed the function of the first terset is to convey a point of view that is exatly the opposite of the second one.
 The content it's an argumentation about a life cycle of a word.
