Exercise 1 page 90

The most important differences are:
1. the roof. The theater in the first picture is completely covered. In the second image the pit does not have a roof.

2. the armchairs. in the picture there are seats to be in the audience in a gallery setting, while in the drawing there are only benches in the gallery.

3. the lighting. In the first theater there are numerous sources of illumination, while in the second there is not a single one.

4. The trap door. In the photo you do not see the scenery  but still today in theaters there are not trapdoors for the suggestions but a displays with the beats. In ancient theaters there were trapdoors for suggestions.

Exercise 5 page 91

Only busy man worked in the Elizabeth’s playhouse. They worked a lot and then performing in little time. They belonged to a team. The actor had to be able to improvise in time of emergency.
