Today we discussed the Sharing Responsibility Pact during the English lesson.
The Pact is a very important document signed by students ‘families and the school. They both decide to do their best to make the student learn as much as possible respecting his individuality (that means "peculiarity" and also "what a person he is"). The school considers every student as single and unique.
There are four pages where you can find all the opportunities the school gives the family.
In the document you find an introduction that explains what the Pact is and what the school has to do. Moreover there are four short paragraphs: the first is about the terms between the school and the families, the second regards security, the third is about students ‘rights and in the last paragraph you students' behaviors are considered and the possible consequences of incorrect behavior.
Students, teachers and parents try to work in the same direction so everyone can get the best from the others.
It' important to remember that there's no hope for the students that don't work and study (in a word, they are "hopeless"). I think the pact is relevant to give the students more possibilities to learn and to feel better at school. That is the reason why we have to respect it.
Teachers have to give the students all the opportunities to learn and they have also to involve them in projects and activities.
Today our teacher said: " Guys have to learn, communicate, socialize and, last but not the least, they have to work and not to complain...this is a MUST!
In the end of the lesson we've read only a little part of the Sharing Responsibility Pact but luckily it's in Italian so we don't need a lot of help in understanding it...the only problem can be the difficulty to translate it in English!!
