Halloween is a Celtic festivity and it’s on 31th of October. It is especially celebrated in USA and English speaking countries. children dress up like witches, zombies or every kind of monster they can imagine. At night children dressed up go around city, ring the bell or knock on neighbors’ houses and says “trick or treat?” to get some sweets. In this day children with their families used to cut a pumpkin as a scary face and put a candle  inside it. In Italy this festivity isn’t too popular, children how knock on houses’ doors, will probably not get any sweet because not all people, especially the oldest ones , know this festivity.

From the age of 7 to the age of 10 me and my school friends used to dress up and go “trick or treat”. We used to meet at one friend of mine’s house, have diner and then go.  After the all “tour” we used to come back home, count our sweets and then eat them together. Every time after this “sweet night” we used to stop eating sweet for one week!
