Dear Katy,

In this letter I’m going to tell you about my new school.

I attend the first form of Cervignano’s liceo scientifico, a high school specialises in Maths and Scientific subjects.

It’s a big school, with lots of classes and about 500 students. There are also two rooms with computers, a room for Sciences and Physic, a big gym for PE and a small bar.

My class is the 1ALS and we are 28 students… all the classes are in the same floor, beacuse the school has only the ground one.

Every morning, I start school at 8.20, then I have three lessons, a break (too short in my opinion… we have only ten minutes for eating something, going to the toilet and seeing and talking with friends), then there are other two lessons on Monday, on Tuesday and on Friday, so I leave school at 13.20. On the other days I finish my lessons at 12.20. I have 27 hours of lesson a week.

I have lots of subject: Italian, Latin, History-Geography, English, Art, Maths, Sciences, PE, Physic and I attend a course of German (at school) two hours a week. My favourite subject is Sciences because I like the things we are studying now. I have also lots of teachers, one for every subject, and my favourite one is Miss Chiara Princig who teaches Sciences.

I have a favourite friend at school. She calls Angelica Macor and she isn’t in my class, but she attends the 1BSU. She is very nice and smart and I’ve known her for 4 years, since I’ve started the secondary school. I spend every break and i go to school every morning with her, but sometimes we don’t finish school at the same hour, so we come home alone. I often meet her in the afternoon with other friends of ours, to tell and listen to the news about our new schools.
