Hi Kate,

your last letter was really funny, when I read it I couldn’t stop laughing. You also asked me about my school, so now I’m going to tell it to you.

 I’m attending the I als at Liceo scientifico Albert Einstein, it’s a mixed school.

My school has got an “o” form and it has got only one floor, so I don’t have to do lots of stairs like in my old school.

 School starts at 8.20 and finishes at 1.20 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Friday and at 12.20 a.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. At 11.15 a.m. there’s a break which finishes ten minutes later; it’s a little short, but I have time to eat and to talk with my friends.

 My classroom is quite big and there are three windows, so there’s lot of light. There’s an electronic register, it’s a laptop where the teachers write all about the students in a website. In that way the parents can see everything about their children going on the net.

 There are 28 students in my class, my favourite friend is Martina. We stay together at every break, I love to talk to her. She loves drawing dresses and she likes listening to music, but we like different music genres; so everytime we listen to music together we choose a bit of the singers that I like and a bit of the singers that she likes. She thinks I’m crazy!

 We study Maths, Italian, Latin, Science, English, History, Geography, Physics, PE and Religion.

 My favourite teachers are my teacher of Italian and my teacher of Maths.

My teacher of Italian is Mr. Castellan and my teacher of Maths is Mr. Di Florio, they explain the lesson very good.
