THE ARGUMENTATIVE TEXT
The argumentative text is a scientific text supported by quantitative and qualitative data and sometimes images. Its purpose is to present thesis and argumentations useful to persuade and convincing people.
Every information has to be collected in a brainstorming (a scheme that it has done before the text to help the writer to write down the main point of his argumentation). After that, the writer has to pick over the most important data and he has to reorganize them in different paragraphs: first of all, there is an introduction (that introduces the text and what the writer want to explain); the body of the text (where the writer explains his concepts and argumentations; this paragraph could also be divided into other different paragraphs that could have different funcions); and the conclusion (the last paragraph where the writer summarizes his argumentations).
The language used is a scientific language: clear and simple.
