FIRST VIDEO.
In the first video, “The Language of Love”, the protagonist is a boy who has to do a French exam.
The question is to describe the best friend or to write a letter for him.
The boy don’t want to describe his best friend, he says it is too difficult, it is not easy, he is not able to speak fluently about him. The language is too complex, not like Math, where there is one solution; the words have more meanings, for example “baiser” means “to kiss” or “to fuck”, there are too shades.
It is difficult speak about love. People do not feel safe when they speak about it.
The boy is in love with his best friend. He is his only thought. He is afraid because he thinks it is not normal to feel this emotion. On the other hand, “amour” is a masculine name. His friends twit him of his relation with his best friend.
He is also afraid to confide with him, he is afraid of what he could answer. Although, his best friend tells everything to him. So he decides to write a letter for him; he starts to write: “Mon cher Samuel, je t’aime.”
