DIALOGUE NUMBER 1

 

I meet Tom, one of my best friends.

 

-Hi, Tom.

Hi!

-I'm going to give you some questions about your daily routine.

Okay.

-What time do you generally get up in the morning?

I generally get up at quarter to seven.

-And who wakes you up?

My father does.

-Okay, and what time do you have breakfast?

At seven o'clock.

-What do you usually have at breakfast time?

I have biscuits, with a cup of coffee. I rarely have cornflakes.

-So do I. What do you do later?

I brush my teeth, I wash my face and I get dressed. Then, I leave home at half past seven.

-Early! Do you walk to school?

No,I don't. I have to walk for five minutes to get to the bus stop. Second, I catch the bus to go to school.

-And, what about the journey?

It's very boring! My house is not so far from my school but the bus takes over forty minutes to arrive at school. I generally listen to music during it.

-How many periods of lessons do you have at school?

Five. Lessons start at half past eight and finish at half past one in the afternoon. But on Tuesdays we have got seven periods of lessons, a lot!

-Where do you have lunch?

At home. I generally have pasta or rice. Later, I do my homework.

-Do you spend a lot of time to do that?

Yes...about three hours per day.

-What do you usually do after homework?

I watch TV, surf on Internet and, on Mondays, on Wednesdays and on Fridays I play football with my team. Every Sundays I have got the match.

-Great! What time do you have dinner?

At half past eight, very late!

-Yes,sure. What time do you go to bed?

At half past ten, after watching TV, of course.

I talk to my mother...

 

-Hi,mum. What time do you generally get up in the morning?

I generally get up at half past six.

-And who wakes you up?

My alarm clock does.

-What time do you have breakfast?

At twenty to seven. I usually have biscuits or toasted bread with jam or chocolate.

-What do you do later?

I wake my sons at twenty past seven, I prepare breakfast for them, second I take my daughter to her school at eight o'clock.

-What do you do in the morning if you are free?

I clean my house or I go out to walk or to ride my bike.

-And if you are not free?

I work as shop assistant all day in Cervignano Del Friuli. My hour plans are not fixed.

-Do you like working?

Yes, I do.

-How do you get to your work?

I often get there by bike, but I sometimes go by car.

-What do you generally do after work?

I help my daughter for her homework. Then, I prepare dinner at half past seven pm. After that, I like reading, surfing on Internet and chatting with my friends.

-And, what time do you go to bed?

At ten o'clock pm.
