THE FIRST DIALOGUE

Alessia: Hello aunt Mary. How are you?

Aunt Mary: Fine thank you, but I’m a little tired.

Alessia: Why? Don’t you sleep? At what time do you get up in the morning?

Aunt Mary: I always get up at five o’clock and then I do my homework.

Alessia: It’s very early! At what time do you start work at the post office?

Aunt Mary: I start my work at eight o’clock and I often finish at half past three.

Alessia: What do you do in the afternoon?

Aunt Mary: I sometimes go to the supermarket, I wash the clothes or I  go out with my dog Toby.

Alessia: At what time do you have dinner?

Aunt Mary: I have dinner at a quarter past eight so I start cooking  at seven o’clock.

Alessia: Wow, so you go to sleep very early!

Aunt Mary: No, it’s wrong! I must wash the dishes and later I usually iron the dresses of your cousins and your uncle’s  jeans and shirts. So I always go to sleep after  midnight.

Alessia: Poor aunt! I think you’re tired!
