On Thursday, December 12, at the third hour of our school time, we had an English lesson with our teacher, Mrs Beltramini. When she entered the class we were all standing, waiting for her to tell us to sit down. On her desk there were only five sheets of paper, a black pen and a red one and our badges. When I took my books out of my backpack the teacher was sitting on her chair to fill in the online register. After that, she spent about five minutes to complete a text document for high schools in the Region, which was about the linguistic methods. Afterwards, she told us about her work because there are many important things to know about how to create a text and more, and we were all listening to her with great interest. My classmate Beltramino was asked a few questions about the text and the teacher also asked him to describe herself. He defined her as a special person and, relating to this, our teacher told us a fact, in which a women described her as extraordinary person. While Mrs Beltramini was explaining us the difference between the verbs learn and understand, my classmate found in the teacher's project a word, which was new to the whole class. The word was thesaurus, that is a reference work that lists words grouped together according to similarity of meaning. To summarize, the English lesson was useful to do a revision of the vocabulary, we learnt how to create a text and the meaning of the word thesaurus.
