Exercise 5 pag.177

A recent report says that life (a) is going to change in the next twenty years mostly because of technology. People (b) are going still to live in a similar way: families and single people in houses and flats, although there (c) are going to be an increase in communal living arrangements. More people (d) will work all or part of the time from home using the Internet. The government has announced that it (e) is going to invest in public transport. The report says that as a result, many people (f) won’t use cars. The most noticeable changes are in entertainment and free time. With much improved home theatre in every home, films (g) will be available over the Internet, and most bands and musicians (h) will release albums to download. But most critics think that people (i) will never stop meeting in bars and restaurants: a chat on the Internet cannot replace a chat with friends.
