The following text is going to analyse two videos to make some considerations on the language of love, today.
The first video was about a school situation. It was the day of the final exam. And this exam was an exam in foreing language, that is French.
Apparently the exam was going so well untill that moment. The exam was ment to check if students could speak French or writing French apparently in a similar way to the French.
But one of the things that the student, who's talking in the video, said he did not what to do because he would choice about three different tasks: carring out his grammar exercises, or writing about his best friend or also giving his response in a letter about his best friend.
And he said exactly that had a lot of difficulty in expressing himself.
And once he thinks about what task might suit he best he thought he could not held to follow his feelings.
These feelings in a way or another came to surfice and he realise that his best friend and the strongest feelings he had were for thread of his. And it just happened that this thread of his was a man.
He could not express himself because he was embarassed about someone's possible answers. But at the same time there was an additional problem because apparently he had been feelings for a man and not for a woman.
I see that he imagined what other people might have said or how he might be ridiculed.
It is true that always people say that gays are weird and just not normal but the point of love is to trascend normalness and become something special.
So there are a lot different problems, but all the same even he thinks about to man he has got the same problems: he thinks about being touching him, kissing him, cheeking him, coudling him as that it's the same way as it happens him up in to a woman.
In the second video there is a boy meets a girl who is listening to music in a park.
It is a different situation because apparently the boy seem to be very naive.
In the tradition of the western world it is the man who is expected to make the first step and so he has to find excuses, pretests to do that.
And this is exactly what the man did in the second video. He started to use a forme of comunication that was not verball, it was written on posts.
They keep sticking them to their body: arms, face, and especially cheeks.
It seems they like each other and one day the girl decides to make the boy listen to the special song she listens every day, but the boy hears nothing because there is not
a song, the girl is deaf-mute.
Finally he writes her she is still beautiful.
In these videos there are two example of the language of love of adolescents and in both of them there are some references of Shakespeare's language, for example some
part of the body (cheeks, lips, eyes) and in both of the videos there are some troubles that obstacle the love of the teenagers involved in the videos.
All the two videos, for different reasons but at the same time for the same reasons, are very similar to the difficulty of expressing own love because the boys are worried to talk about of what they feel.
There is something in the human nature that makes it very difficult to spaek about love, because people are afraid when they do not know the answer.
The problem is that in all ages, people who have got an awareness of what they are, in which situation they need to find themselves speaking about feelings is always difficult.
And this explains why people use in a way or another not the straight form of comunication. People are not so righter, so willing to express themselves because speaking of love makes them weak. They do not have the total control of the situation.
So when people have to interact with another person they must necessarly renunce to part of themselves.
So these two videos are facing all problems of todays. They are facing the problem of diversity and of adolescent. And at the same time they are facing the problem of fallen people because when people are in love they are all adolescents because they are not sure about what they may come to.
