One night, when he was in the limusine, cross the gaze with anotehr driver that looked back at him with a look of hostility, this event made him very thoughtful, Changez explained to the interlocutor that for Pakistans glare is something serius). After a lot of thoughts Changez came to the solution taht maybe he did not like American, the intelligent reader should find interesting to notice again taht Changez regognise imself as an American without giving a thought. Going on the speaker told the interlocutor about Erica, Changez had become a little worried about the shorts and not so frequent mails they exchange, but he also told that he was quite used because youngers in Pakistan had relationship very caste and separate due to the strict parents. One night at teh Hotel Changez looked at the television something btaht at first he thought was a film, bul later discovered was a real deed: the “New York’s World Trade Centre attacks”; this event, this symbolic act left him “remarkably pleased”.Chnegz describe the action as something taht brought America to her knees”, thinking of it and talking with is cooworkers he find himself worried about Erica’s conditions, he did not know neither if she was fine nor not. Chngez alterwards decsribe how teh society had change starting from that day, at the airport he find himself treated like a terrorist, he felt “undes suspicion”, he told also thatb he felt “giulty” but without being at fault. Both in the airport of Pilippines and America he was separate from his team and was ransacked. The intelligent reader should figure out how outcasted should Changez had felt.
