Translation:
Noto, signore, che  continua ad esserci qualcosa nel nostro cameriere che ti mette a disagio. Io ammetterò che lui è un tipo che ti intimidisce, più largo di te. Ma la durezza della sua faccia segnata dal tempo può essere letta: lui proviene delle nostro nord est montagnoso dove la vita è più lontana dalla semplicità. E nel caso in cui avessi la sensazione che a lui tu non piaccia io vorrei chiederle di essere gentile come a ignorarlo; la sua tribù vive al confine tra il nostro confine e l'Afganistan vicina, e ha sofferto durante le offensive condotte dal vostro paese. 
The quotation is interesting because it explains the differences from what we are and what we think we are. It is interesting because it referees to the comparison between two countries and between cultures, the American one and the culture if the waiter, he comes near Afghanistan. It deals with the anger used by America towards  Afghanistan. The theme is the other with the enemy. 

Analysts of the two quotations.
The verb "observe" means to be more careful, in the English version the speaker uses a formal language, the attitude of formality is typical from the eastern world. The intelligent reader can understand that Changez is interested into the interlocutor action and movements, this concept is expressed by "there continues to be", Changez understands that the American is not at ease (a proprio agio). The choice of the verb "to admit" makes the reader understand that also Changez perceives that the waiter doesn't see the America man in a good way, he recognized the attitude perceived by the American. Therefore also the Afghanistan man has this kind of attitude  towards the American. The structure is very similar, we get an indirect of the physician idea of the American man, the verb "to be accounted for" means to give an explanation of way things happen, it is translated with the Italian expression "dare peso". Changez appears to the reader as a person able to listen to the others, to put himself into the slippers of others, he understands that ten interlocutor isn't at ease and the waiter suffered the hardness of life. The Italian version "dare peso" results a bit different from the original version which underlines a more rational explanation "be accounted for". It is not areal translation because in the original version we have the use if an adjective before a noun "weatherly face" while in the Italian version there is a verb "segnato", Italian needs a verb while in the original version in embodied in the adjective. The verb "to hail" describe the origin of someone by the way he greed. In the original version "where life is far from easy" there is the idea of the continuous difficulty, while in the Italian version it seems a fact.
