What do you think the ideal reader of the short story is?

In my opinion the ideal reader could be an Enghlish person that lives in a colony in India, in fact the story is written in English and talks about and Indian girl.

Another opinion is that the reader could be a man in love, because the writer talks about the girl like a goddess.

Maybe the ideal reader is a real person that lived the situation of the story.
