I could not go on the school trip because my mother has undergone a surgery treatment. She had a mandibular cyst.

I was very worried about it because it was a very delicate treatment.

She undergone surgery on 28th January and the departure for Dublin was on 31st January.

I wanted to be supportive staying close to her. I would feel guilty leaving her alone. The operation has been successful but, obviously, she felt a terrible pain.

Even if it has been such a shame not going to Dublin with my classmates I do not regret anything because helping my mother has been more satisficatory.

I regret not visiting Dublin because it is a city that I have always wanted to see.

Not my favourite but a city that interests me.

Sometimes I felt upset because they told me how they were spending the trip and they were so amused that I often wanted to be with them. They told me about and described the buildings, the city and everything that passed under their eyes!

Fortunately, for me, and unfortunately for my friends, the weather was bad so I do not completely regret the school trip! I hate changeable, windy, rainy and cold weather!

I went to school for three days for not do miss many lessons and for an important reason: improving a bad mark in Math!

I got a high mark: 8!

In those days I stayed with classmates and other guys from the other class that, as me, could not go on the school trip.

We studied for some tests and we did our homework. It has been helpful because we could compare our ideas and knowledge.

Doing homework together is easier and more pleasant!

I have always felt close to my classmates because they have always kept me updated when they even found a wi-fi or when they went back to their Dublin's houses.

Certainly I lost an important experience: I would have liked attending lessons to observe, with my own eyes, their school system for comparing it to my school one.

I had wanted to visit "Trinity College": I have always find it something extraordinary!

Maybe the building I regret most!
