I think it has population of about 63 million.

And over 50 million of them live in England.

No, it doesn't there a prime minister.

But the UK has got a Queen. What does she do?

Well, she is the head of state, but she doesn't make any plitical decisions.

She has some important cerimonial duties and she meets the prime minister every week so that she knows what is happening politically. The UK is a costitutional monarchy, you see.

What does that mean?

It means a type of governament in whitch the king or Quuen is the head of the state, but ministers in governament make the laws.

I see. In my country, we have a president, not a king or queen.
