My name is Gessica Vicenzino, I am sixteen years old and I live in Carlino, a small town in Friuli Venezia Giulia, that is a region in the north-east of Italy, with my family, which consists of four people: my father, my mother, my little brother and me.

I am in fourth year of the high school in Cervignano, another small town in Friuli Venezia Giulia. I study Human Sciences, that is also my favourite subject. After the high school I will go to Mestre, a city in Veneto, the region near Friuli Venezia Giulia, to study Social Sciences at the University to become a social worker.

I am a very cheerful and helpful person. I like to help people who have experienced difficult situations, and I hope to do that through my future work.

In my free time I like going out for a walk, reading a book or playing the clarinet. For me, music is my passion and my hobby. I also play the clarinet in the town band. I have only a hobby and I do it since I was four years old. I started to play this instrument because I wanted to tread in my godfather’s footsteps, who also plays the clarinet. I wanted to do this because he is a very important person in my life (of course, also with my godmother).

I have other two passions: I like making photos (and so my family give me a Nikon last summer to make good pictures) and I like making nail arts.

I spend a lot of time to my grandparents’ house because I love them and also because there is always a lot of people (my grandparents, my uncles, my cousin): we stay all together, we play cards and we talk about a lot of things. I grew up there, the house is out of the town and I love it because I can stay outside, in the vegetable garden, when I have not to study or to do homework.
