Dear Mark                                                                          Grado, 10 th November 2015

I’m Raffaele, it’s been a long time since I’ve written you a letter, how are you? I hope you are fine; today I am going to tell you about the rules and the things I can do and the things I cannot do in my life, especially at school and at home;

At school we fortunately don’t have to wear a uniform, I really don’t like it! But we have some little rules concerning the wearing, for example we can’t wear short pants or sleeveless shirt; In class, during the lesson we can’t use our mobiles and we aren’t allowed to speak to each other, in our school ( like in all the public places in Italy) we cannot smoke. Have you the same rules in America? Or you have to wear a uniform or something like that?

At home I don’t have many rules but till 4 years ago ( when I was still a child and I wasn’t responsible at all) I had a lot of rules that I had to respect. By now two of the few rules I have is to not come back later when I go out and to not go to bed very late. And you? Have you straight rules that you must respect at home?

All the things change when I go to my friends’ houses, in fact  there I usually try to not do anything wrong, for example I put off my shoes before I enter the home or I don’t lay on the couch. And you? How do you behave when you go to the house of a friend?

Text me back!

Raffaele
