Dear Sam,

hi! How are you? I’m quite good here. I’m writing to you to talk about rules in my school, at home and at my friends’ home.

At school we aren’t allowed to use our mobile phone or other technologicalequipment such as MP3 player, tablet etc. without a permission from the teacher. We aren’t allowed to smoke inside the school, and students under 18 years old are allowed to go home early only under permission from the teacher and their parents. Those who are over 18 can go out from the school without the permission from the parents. We can’t eat during the lessons and we aren’t allowed to smoke inside the school. We can wear jeans, jewellery and girls can put make up on.

At my home I can watch TV when I want, but I don’t usually watch it. During school I have to go to bed before midnight, but during summer holydays I can go to sleep whenever I want, even if I always go to bed before one a.m. on my own. I always am allowed to go out with my friends, but I can’t be at home after seven p.m.

At my friends’ home I am not allowed to make confusion and I can’t listen to loud music. I am not allowed to use and touch everything, especially fragile items, without permission. My friends and me can watch TV when we want and we can eat in the bedroom, in the living room or in the kitchen.
