In the second quatrain of the poetry "I find no peace" by Thomas Wyatt the reader can find the repetition of the syllable "th" that was used to make the third person singular of verbs in literature (looseth, locketh, holdeth, letteth, giveth). These all refers to the poet's inner conflict. Besides, there is the repetition of the objective pronoun "me", which bring the reader understands the turning situation of the poet into a passive status in this part of the sonnet. In addition, the repetition of the conjunction "not" stressed this disability of the poet in not succeeding in dominate his opposing feelings. In order to convey his contrasting mood ha resorts to the juxtaposition words that belong to opposed semantic fields: looseth and locketh, holdeth and scape, lie and die.
