In this text I’m going to discuss Banford’s character in the short story “The Fox” by D.H.Lawrence.

She has been characterize by the writer the opposite of March.

Banford is a woman of the couple with Nellie because she is more female than Nellie. She always works into the house for example she cleans the house or cook. Jill has a character less stronger than Nellie.

Banford looks sweet but actually she has a strong character.

Jile is about 30 years. they are physically opposite because Banford is small and thin and March has a more masculine body.

Another thing of Banford is that his father helped economically Nellies and Jill.

From these arguments, I can say that the author characterized Banford the opposite of March.
