I spent the best weekend of my life in London, one year ago. I went there with a friend and her parents to visit the city.

We stayed in a hotel near Covent Garden, in which we arrived in the late afternoon on Friday.
In the evening we visited the Shard Tower, a 310 meters high skyscraper near Tower Bridge; we went to the 72^nd floor and there, we admired the view: the city was full of lights, which create a magic atmosphere.
Late, we had dinner in the Hard Rock restaurant and I ordered a steak with French fries and garlic bread.
The place was beautiful, the waiter was very nice and the steak was the best I’ve ever ate.

On Saturday we visited the landmarks of the city, getting around with the Underground; we had a boat trip through the River Thames and a round on the London Eye.
We also visited Camden Town, which is one of the places I liked the most: it’s a town with every kind of flea market and stalls, and there were lots of exotic restaurants.
On the evening we went shopping in Oxford Street, and had dinner in a steakhouse.

On Sunday morning we left for Italy and we arrived home in the early afternoon.
