On the 12^th  of March 1961 the Soviet Union launched the Vostok 1, a spaceship that took Yuri Gagarin into the space for the first time. It was the very first time somebody walked “free” into the space and his name entered the history. Unluckily when it happened I wasn’t born so I couldn’t see it, but I’d really like to.
