He is a round character because he changes during the novel. 

His change is also reinforced by the name that the writer decided to give him, which refers precisely to a change.

Changez has changed due to the different situations he has faced.

Every change implies a growth, indeed firstly Changez had a dream and was enthusiastic about believing in the American model, then this enthusiasm turned into hatred against United States. In the second part of the novel Changez appears more philosophical and definitely more mature than in the past because his experiences led him to put in discussion the dreams that had pushed him to believe in the American system.
