“Reason”

A robot, named Cutie, a day said that, after many days, he is sure to exist because he thinks; he told to Powell and Donovan, two scientists, that they couldn't made him too, because anybody can create a being superior than him.

The scientists tried to change Cutie's convintion, but he sets out some reasons that confirm his reasoning: he said men are weak, need energy from food and they depend by the environment; on the other side, a robot is totally efficient and can live forever.

In my opinion, every invention has got negative effects: for example, mobile phones can merge people but they create addicitions for who uses them incorrectly.

Other inventions, such as nuclear power or oil exploitation, bring destruction and decay for poor people.

Other again bring development for all the humanity: this the case of space travel.
