I think that London in the 16 th century was a small city. London had walls that surrounded it and it was crossed by the river Thames. I think that London wasn’t crowded and filthy. It had narrow roads and some crossroads.

- What was the Londoner’s attitude towards the theatre at that time: it was popular with all Londoners.

- why where the London acting companies unwelcome in other towns? :because they might be carry disease.
- overall, London in the 16th century could be considered : unhealthy and overcrowded.
